High School Credit Recovery/Advancement

The Student Success Center offers FREE credit recovery and/or advancement classes to students who are currently enrolled in a high school.

  • High school credit recovery

  • High school credit advancement

  • Standards-based curriculum

  • Self-paced program

  • Course materials are provided digitally on Canvas.  

  • Faculty as mentors for individual help

To be eligible and enroll for the program:

  • Students must have a permission form from the high school counselors and signed by parents. 

  • Attend an orientation session which will present an overview of the contract, expectations and guidelines for each class. 

  • Students must successfully complete class within the allotted time in order to earn credits for that course.

  • Students with IEP's should contact Garfield Campus DSPS counselors at 818-240-1000 ext. 5035 or 5099
