Ruthie ReederRUTHIE REEDER

My name is Ruthie Reeder, and I am Parent Support Center's Interim Director, where I will oversee the implementation of services, provide support to the dedicated teachers and ensure our families have the resources and support needed for their children to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

I am a first-generation American, born to Italian and Salvadoran immigrant parents, and I’m fluent in Spanish and some Italian. I am originally from San Francisco, California, and have spent most of my life in Northern California. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Sonoma State University. I am a proud mother of three grown sons, with one residing in Long Beach, another in San Francisco, and the youngest attending Chico State University.

With over 18 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to 13 years old, along with 12 years of managerial experience in childcare, I also bring a wealth of knowledge that can complement with all the experience, skills and talents the PSC team offers.
