Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate

Glendale Community College offers two tracks for the nurse assistant training program. The first is a day offering which is a 15 week, and the evening course which is 16 weeks.

DAY PROGRAM: 15 WEEKS  EVENING PROGRAM: 16 WEEKS 
T,Th 8am-12:00pm- Online Instruction
T, TH, 7am-2:30pm  - Clinical
T ,TH 3:30pm- 7:30pm Online Instruction
Sat 7am-6:00pm - Clinical

Both courses are comprised of 60 classroom hours, and 100 clinical hours for a total of 160 hours of training.

Students are required to attend all classes and pass with an 75% or better to be eligible to take the California state exam for licensure as a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Clinical hours are required and are held at a facility in Montrose, California.

Classes Start Spring 2025

Initial Application due by: October 23rd, 2024
Orientation: November 13th, 2024
Classes begin: February 18th, 2025
